Cambiar la Ubicación de las Carpetas Personales de Linux / Ubuntu (Documentos, Música, Vídeos, etc)

Para cambiar la Ubicación de las carpetas personales (Documentos, Imágenes, Música, Escritorio…), algo muy útil si tienes una partición de Datos en NTFS (compartida con Windows por ejemplo); tenemos que editar un fichero de texto, al que podremos acceder introduciendo esto en un terminal:

# Format is XDG_xxx_DIR=”$HOME/yyy”, where yyy is a shell-escaped

 Para modificarlo lo haremos de la siguiente forma:

          XDG_DESKTOP_DIR=”$media/Datos/Escritorio”

     XDG_TEMPLATES_DIR=”$media/Datos/Plantillas”
     XDG_PUBLICSHARE_DIR=”$media/Datos/Público”
